Trujal de experiences is a space where 4 generations stepped on grapes to obtain the best wines they knew how to make, according to what their grandparents had told them.
Pascual, Faustino, their children and later their grandson followed the tradition of making wine in that space and kept the essence of what they learned from their ancestors.
The first Galafre was the great-grandfather Pascual. Probably due to its great height, the locals say that when he walked his head hovered above the rest, more than 2 meters high
The nickname surely was given him making mention of the Giant Galafre, the one who took care of the Maintainable Bridge in a story of the Emperor Carlo Magno and the twelve pairs of France.
From those stories cooked between Giants and bridges a brand is born for our Rioja wine “Finca Galafre”.
There are more brands under the label “Trujal de Experiencias”, all following the same pattern to seek balance in our clients.
Today this space maintains the same structure and the same utensils that it had at that time, but above all it maintains the soul that always existed to do things well.
We can do tastings there, not only of wines but also of oils, meat products, cheeses, Cantabrian anchovies or Jamón de Jabugo. The idea is to be able to meet in this space to taste the products that we commercialize, or simply to hang out around what was a way of life for one of our ancestors.
