De Armas Tomar is a frizzante —an
Italian term meaning “sparkling” or “lightly fizzy”— halfway between
a still wine and a sparkling wine. It is considered a
refreshing, light and easy-drinking wine, ideal for
aperitifs and light meals.
It has less pressure than a traditional sparkling wine: its bubbles
are finer and feel like a tingle on the tongue. It is fresh,
fruity and with a low alcohol content, making it
very easy to drink.
The frizzantes from Trujal de Experiencias are served very cold. They are perfect as an aperitif, to accompany desserts or simply to enjoy on hot days.
